Pili Poppers begins in the Mt. Bulusan area of Bicol, where pili has long been prized for food. The region gives the pili tree the nurturing conditions it needs—warmth, rainfall, and fertile volcanic soil—and that shows in the excellent quality of the nut.

But good pili does not stop in the orchard. The nuts are harvested by hand by local farmers and air-dried. 

Before they’re brought into production, they are gently roasted at low temperature to remove moisture and reduce acidity, making the product easier to digest. Because pili is delicate by nature, the process asks for patience and care. 

What comes through in the end is a snack with a real sense of journey behind it. From a distinct Filipino ingredient shaped by place and prepared with respect comes something refined, flavorful, and truly unforgettable.
